Mossman Community Centre had their first primary school aged school holiday program on Friday 13th July. The children learned how to reduce plastic by making their own beeswax wraps to use in their lunchbox instead of cling wrap. As an extra activity, the children also learned how to make rope out of banana trunk. This was a great way to help educate children on using natural resources for a useful everyday item. The day was a great success and all the children enjoyed bringing home their finished products.
