Mossman Support Services had a great day making hoola hoops and juggling balls from recycled materials. The event was aimed at children aged between 5yrs-12yrs and was designed to not only be a fun activity for kids but to also help educate them on fun ways to recycle. Hoola hoops were made from recycled irrigation pipe and the juggling balls were made from odd socks and rice. The day was in full attendence and each child was able to take home their new “circus toys” to play and use over the holidays as well as some information on the importance of recycling and fun things to create out of recycled materials. We would like to say a special thank you to Cairns Skating Centre for donating free passes to skating which we used on the day for our Hoola Hooping competition!
