In 2025, we’re rolling out a fantastic program crafted to unite our NDIS community. Get set to take advantage of the incredible experiences in Cairns and Douglas Shire. Imagine this: lively gatherings, enjoyable workshops, and chances to forge new friendships while venturing into the unknown.

From fun BBQs in the park to colorful festivals that celebrate local talent, there’s a little something for everyone! Whether you prefer to kick back in a comfy chair and soak up the atmosphere or get a little rowdy with your friends, our diverse program has something for everyone! The ‘Best in a Day’ program is open to anyone with an approved NDIS plan however is subject to available funding with each individual plan. We encourage participants to check with their plan manager to confirm available support funds.

Terms & Conditions

• Participants must travel with a Mossman Support Services Lifestyle Support Care worker.

• Our staff are well-trained and insured.

• Ticket and meal costs are paid separately and are not included in NDIS funding.

• An induction, meet and greet, and onboarding are required before the day trip.

• Participants must be able to get on and off a bus or vehicle, with or without help.

• Participants need an approved NDIS funding plan for support services.

• Ratio of support worker to participant will be calculated on an individual needs basis.
