More than a meal —
it's a community

The Mossman Community Kitchen is a warm, welcoming space where local people come together to cook, eat and connect. Every Wednesday, our volunteer-run kitchen fires up — preparing healthy, delicious meals that bring together people from all walks of life.

Whether you're an experienced cook or have never picked up a knife, there's a place for you here. We learn from each other, share recipes from across cultures, and enjoy the simple pleasure of a meal made together.

  • Volunteer-run and community-powered
  • Open to everyone — no experience needed
  • A cultural exchange on a plate every week
  • Connected to our Food Rescue and Emergency Relief programs
  • Part of the SPERS program for eligible participants
