Mossman Support Services is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people.

We believe that every child has the right to be safe, respected, and protected from harm. We work together with children, families, staff, and the broader community to make Mossman Support Services a place where children and young people are safe, respected, and supported to thrive.

To uphold this commitment, we:

• Actively promote the safety, participation, and empowerment of all children
• Take all allegations and concerns about child abuse seriously and respond to them promptly and appropriately
• Review policies and legislation to ensure ongoing compliance to meet our obligations under the Commonwealth Child Safety Framework
• Implement and maintain robust child safety policies and procedures, aligned with the Child Safe Standards
• Carefully screen, train, and support all staff, volunteers, and contractors to understand child safety strategies and responsibilities
• Regularly review and improve our practices as we are committed to protecting children from harm
