A listening ear and a
helping hand

Our Community Connect Worker (CCW) is here to listen, support, and help you take the next step. Together, we'll look at the challenges you're facing, identify what's most important, and find the right services and resources to create positive change in your life.

Using a person-centred approach and strong local knowledge, the CCW will help you connect with services that best suit your needs — providing information, advice and referrals, and guiding you through systems that might otherwise feel confusing or stressful.

  • Free and confidential support — no referral needed
  • Person-centred approach tailored to your situation
  • Strong local knowledge of Douglas Shire services
  • Help navigating complex systems and paperwork
  • Warm referrals to the right services for your needs
