Good food, freely given
Our Food Rescue program collects quality donated food that might otherwise go to waste and makes it freely available to anyone in the local community who needs it. No appointments. No paperwork. No questions asked.
20 Mill St, Mossman
How it works
Simple, welcoming and designed with dignity in mind.
Just walk in
Visit us any Wednesday from 9:30am. No appointment needed, no forms to fill in — just come in and help yourself to what you need.
Self-serve pantry
Browse our self-serve pantry at your own pace and choose what suits your household. Fresh produce, packaged goods and more — all at no cost.
Private & dignified
We've designed the program to preserve your privacy and dignity. There are no referrals, no income checks and no judgement — just good food for the community.
Fresh food for
your table
The food available each week varies depending on what has been donated by our generous partners. You can expect a mix of fresh produce and packaged goods — all safe, quality food that simply needed a new home.
