How to reconnect with us

Dear Community Members, Partners, Volunteers and Local Businesses,

Thank you for your patience while we worked to re-establish our Facebook presence. Our previous Facebook page still exists, but it is no longer managed by Mossman Support Services. To make sure you are receiving accurate, official information from us, please take these steps:

Businesses and organisations: if you previously linked, tagged or affiliated with Mossman Support Services on Facebook, please remove those connections to our old page and link to our new page instead.

Our Instagram pages were not affected and remain secure.

A note about our previous page

We lost access to our previous Facebook page and groups following a security incident, and we have been working with Meta to resolve it. The old page may still appear in search results or on your Facebook feed, but it should not be considered official. Until you have unfollowed it, please stay cautious:

  • Do not donate through any fundraiser or payment request on the old page claiming to support Mossman Support Services.
  • Do not respond to messages claiming to be from Mossman Support Services that ask for personal information, passwords or verification codes.
  • Do not click on links in suspicious posts or Messenger messages relating to Mossman Support Services.

If you see suspicious posts or profiles impersonating us, please report them to Facebook. If you believe you have shared banking details or made a payment, contact your financial institution immediately. If you ever have a concern, please contact us directly by phone or email.
